Undeserving

{A True Love Story}

I love this picture. The meaning behind it.
What it portrays in my life.

A sinful woman, caught. Deserves punishment for her sin.

For no other reason, Jesus stands before her.

A God named Love
Defends her.
Rescues her.

Grace.

She is filthy, ashamed, undeserving, unworthy.

Her response:
To follow her Rescuer all the days of her life.
Closely.
Gratefully.

Worshipping in obedience and thanksgiving.

She was unworthy . . . for no other reason than love,
He saves her.

"For I know that my Redeemer lives, and at the last he will stand upon the earth." (Job 19:25)

"He reached down from on high and took hold of me; he drew me out of deep waters. He rescued me from my powerful enemy, from my foes, who were too strong for me. They confronted me in the day of my disaster, but the LORD was my support. He brought me out into a spacious place; he rescued me because he delighted in me." (Psalm 18:16-19)
